_If you're from the south, you know sweet tea. If you're from Knoxville, you SHOULD know Petro's Hint-of-Orange® Iced Tea.

It quite possibly be the best drink I've ever had in my life. And it's safe to say I'm addicted.

Between the "hint-of-orange" flavor, the crushed ice, the fresh orange slice, and the huge sturdy cup, there's nothing short of perfection.

If you're about to go get in your car right now to treat yourself, let me give you some quick tips first.


Tip 1: Don't skimp on ice. The coldness just makes it so much more refreshing!

Tip 2: Splurge and get a large - for only 30 cents more, you won't regret it.

Tip 3: Don't forget to add the fresh oranges. Yes, oranges. Not lemons like the good ole days.

It's easy to say that I'm not the only one who sings this drink's praises. In fact, I have a large cup of the goodness sitting next to me on a bench on campus when a random guy sits down and goes, "That stuff is SO GOOD" and proceeded to tell me about his current addiction as well.

This stuff is so good it's even a conversation starter!

Moving to Knoxville 5 years ago, one of the first things I noticed was the huge variety of restaurants we have in East Tennessee! Here is where special restaurants that have stuck out to me will be featured.
